What is Meditation?  What do you do when you meditate?  And what about the crystals? What are the stones that are used,  and what is the feeling of the stone?

Meditation is a relaxing experience that is very healing to the body, mind and spirit.  When you start to do meditation, you have to start slow and learn just how to relax the body and also the mind.  Have you heard of the phrase, “Monkey mind?”  Monkey mind is when the thoughts go through our thought process rapidly and consistently on one thing or another.  This is the hardest thing to get under control.  It takes time to release the fast thoughts that go through our minds.  We need to relax and just get to a blank relaxed stage of mind.  Sometimes it helps just for you  to concentrate on one thing.  It should be simple and easy to do.

When you start to meditate, just slowly breathe into your lunges and let your stomach expand, hold your breath for four counts, then let out the breathe for four counts.  Relax for four counts.  Then repeat this process over and over.  Do this for five minutes or so.  This is a meditation exercise and the beginning of the meditation experience.

Meditation can be used for many things. Setting goals, or something that you want to think about and work on.  Prayer is a form of meditation in focusing in a certain format that you are praying for.  A good example is praying with a Rosary, or Mala beads.  Each bead on the Rosary or the Mala beads is a repetitious phrase or chant of similar pairs of words through out  number of beads to use.

Another meditation is the manifesting the thing you want to have, achieve or come about.  This is visualizing and seeing in your imagination of what it is you want to occur.

Crystals are a wonderful tool to use while meditating.  They can be any shape, size and texture you want to use.  Just remember that crystals have the same vibrating energy as our body.  Crystals are like little batteries that are slow electricity going inside of the stone.

When you meditate with a crystal, try to have one crystal in each hand.  Sit quietly with your crystal.  Some of the crystals you can use are Clear Quartz Crystal, Citrine, Rose Quartz, Aventurine, some of the agates stones, these stones have quartz in them.   There are many other rocks and stones that can work as well.  Remember what you are attracted to and you like the Crystals or the stones, then that is what you want to work with.

Before you start to meditate, take a piece of paper and write down what it is you want to meditate on.  Then find some nice soft meditation music that has no words in it.  The reason no words,  it will stop the, “Monkey Mind.”  from occurring.  Then find a place that is relaxing for you.  You can either lie down on the floor or the bed to do your meditation, or you can sit in a comfortable chair to do your meditation.  Next get your two crystals that you want to use to meditate with.

Hold your crystals in your hands, and relax in the position you want to do your meditation.  Listen to the sound and beat of the music.  Feel the vibration of the music and just breathe slowly in, and out.  Let your thought go, and feel the crystals in each of your hands.  You may feel a vibrating sensation, or maybe a warm feeling.  Just relax into that sensation.

 After about fifteen minutes or longer come back to reality.  Feel your feet, wiggle your toes.  Feel you hands and wiggle your hands.  Slowly open your eyes and get acclimated to your surroundings.  Slowly sit up and move around.

Get a piece of paper and write down what you experienced.
